Lili Antcliff (age 10)

Lili  joined West Glamorgan MGA in 2009, and has been riding for the West Glam Reds since.  She is also a member of the Banwen and District Pony Club.  Lili was proud to be selected to ride for Wales at the Mini Home International in 2009 and is looking forward to representing her country when they host the 2010 European Championships.

Ellese Jones (age 11)

Ellese rides for West Glamorgan Minis and also for the Banwen and District Pony Club.  As well as enjoying mounted games Ellese also hunts through the winter season with Sennybridge Hunt.  Ellese is looking forward to reperesenting Wales at Chepstow in 2010.

Rebecca Thomas (age 11)

Rebecca has been a member of the MGA since 2009, when she rode for Dorset MGA.  Since 2010 she rides for West Glam Reds.  Rebecca is also a member of the Banwen and District Pony Club.  In 2009 Rebecca and her friend Harriet won the Welsh Pairs.  Rebecca is looking forward to riding for Wales at the Europeans and the Home International.

Corey Simpson-Norton (11)

 

Corey has been riding since he was 4 years of age.  He has been a member of West Glamorgan MGA since 2007 and Banwen Pony Club since 2004.  Corey is a keen rugby player and plays regularly for Abercrave RFC.  He also hunts through the winter months with the Sennybridge Hunt.  Corey is looking forward to riding for his country and the Europeans.

Sian Jones

Sian is 11 years old and lives in North Wales on her parents' sheep farm. She likes helping with lambing and loves competitive riding and weekends away with MGA where there are lots of other children to play with.

Sam Shilibier Sam Rides for Llangeinor Pony Club and West Glamorgan Red Mini's team .He has ridden for for Wales in 2008 at European championships in Germany and also in 2009 at Home internationals Foxy
ce Trainer I am currently in my last year at university studying Primary School teaching. I like to socialise with my friends and go to the gym to keep fit. I have been riding since I can remember,it all started when I joined Banwen PPC and then went on to join West Glamorgan MGA team. I have represented my country in the Home Internationals and the World Campionships. I have trained the Welsh mini team for the Europeans in Germany. I am looking forward to the Europeans in Wales and getting to meet you all. See you all soon.

Tom Norton I am 12 yrs old and I am honoured to have been selected to represent Wales  in the under 14's at the Forthcoming European Championships , especially as the event is being hosted by Wales  . I ride for Leicestershire Juniors in M G A and Banwen Pony Club, my other interest are Cricket and Rugby. I am looking forward to meeting up with some old friends and making new ones over the coming week Tinkerbell

Georgia Hicks

Georgia has been in the Welsh Team for three years , she rode in Verden Germany, and last year in the Home International at mini level. This year she has moved up on her new pony, Sunny, and rides in the under 14’s.
Georgia rides for West Glamorgan , where she’s been since the age of 6.

Alysha Cahill Alysha has enjoyed riding for a few years now, she hunts with Ystrad Taf Fechan, and enjoys games and cross country with Dare Valley Pony Club, as well as the regular rides organised on Llansteffan beach.  She joined MGA in 2009 where she started riding with Dorset, is learning all the time and eager to do well, and has recently joined the newly formed Powys team.  She is also a very keen swimmer and swims for NEXUS Neath Valley Swimming Club.  Alysha  is looking forward to being part of the Europeans and learning / observing from some of the best riders and trainers in Europe Llew

 Hiya my name is Owain Williams I am 17 years of age.
I have competed at mounted games for Banwen pony club qualifying for Hoys in 2007. I have ridden for West Glamorgan MGA team since minis. This year I have been chosen to ride in the Junior Home Internationals and the World Championships in Geneva.
I am riding a pony called William, he’s a 14.2” bay gelding, and I have had him for 2 years. It’s the first time for me to compete at the Europeans I am really looking forward to it.
My hobbies are rugby, shooting and skiing.

Hi my name is Aaron Jones and I am 16yrs old, and I ride a 7yr old bay gelding called spider he is an American quarter horse.  I used to ride for Banwen Pony Club and we went to HOYS in 2007, and Windsor 2007.  I have also been selected for numerous MGA Welsh Teams, Junior Home Int 2008 in Yorkshire, 2009 & 2010 in Sandringham, Junior European Welsh Team 2008 in Verden, 2009 in Marseille, 2010 in Chepstow.  I have also been picked as reserve rider for the World Team Championships 2010 in Switzerland.  My hobbies are motorbikes and skiing.

 Hi, my name is or Kilah as all my friends call me, I am 14yrs old.  I ride a 14.1 chestnut pony called Bobby Jo who I love very much.  I ride for Dare Valley Pony Club and West Glam Red Junior MGA Team.  I have represented my country several times in the past, I was part of the winning Mini European Team 2007 in Broadlands, I was also part of the Junior Welsh Team 2009 in Marseille. The thing I love most about doing International Competitions is all the different friends I have made from around the World.  My hobbies are horses and Mounted Games. Bobby Jo
